The staff, board members and supporters of the Collaborative Justice Program: Restorative Justice Ottawa (CJP) is pleased to receive a recurrent 3-year grant starting in 2023. This adult post charge program will allow CJP to provide its restorative justice services to Defence community cases involving sexual misconduct that have been transferred to the criminal court in Ottawa and surrounding areas. This funding will strengthen the services for those affected by sexual misconduct in the CAF/DND, while demonstrating how community-based support can hold those responsible meaningfully accountable to those they have hurt. We are immensely grateful to DND - SMSRC for this grant and for supporting our mission. We are pleased to be serving our community and supporting our military members, one case at a time through restorative justice.
